How can I hook up a coax cable to an HDTV?

If your HDTV doesn’t have a coax port, then that means it doesn’t have a tuner. It’s what’s called an HD-Ready TV.
There are several ways you can hook it up, depending on what is being supplied on the cable.
If it’s from an antenna or analog cable system, then you can hook the coax up to a VCR and then hook composite (red-white-yellow) cables to your HDTV.
If you can receive digital over-the-air TV on the antenna, then you can use one of the digital-to-analog converter boxes.
If you have digital cable service, then you’ll need to rent a set-top box from your cable company.
You could get a RF to RCA modulator. But you have to make sure you don’t just have a monitor. If it’s a monitor only it doesn’t have a tuner. Follow the link below. I’m sure they make once for different types of inputs too.
What is the make and model of this TV? I have frankly never seen a TV without a coaxial input.
Of course… an HD ready tv (which means it has not tuner). My bad!
