Should you buy an LCD or Plasma HDTV?
lockergnome asked:
http://live.pirillo.com - It’s really a matter of personal preference when choosing one of these over the other. I personally prefer the Plasma screens, but I know many people who like the LCD more. Let’s take a look at some of the differences between the two.

U sure?
52 inch Mitsubishi LCD 120 hertz, what u think?
16 projector surround system?
Is that any good?
Should I get a Plasma in stead, I love the rich colors…
Plus I use it a lot for gaming…
PS3, XBOX 360
they are very good
At the salesroom the Vizio 47″ lcd 1080p looked darker, fuzzier, duller screen surface, colors less vivid than other similar LCD next to it. Even the Proscan looked brighter and more colorful.
Is the Vizio the case of you get what you pay for? it seems the worst quality of all similar ones.
What is the deal with the screen dullness.
in my country you cant buy a fat tv anymore they only sell flatscreens
THANKS U HELPED ME
You contradict yourself numerious times through out the video. You didn’t really go through the pro’s and con’s of the LCD and Plasma technology.
Thanks for all the help!!!
Dude, you try too hard to get people to like you. I think we understood that this was only an opinion when you chose the plasma. We also understood that everybody must choose what suits them best.
Yes, we understood all that. You did not need to repeat it 4+ times.
Other than that. Thanks for the video
What about Mitsubishi? Is that any good?
As for Plasma televisions nothing can beat the Pioneer Elite Kuro.
As a store onwer in Downtown Bellevue, WA I would agree with this for sure!
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Sony, and Samsung make the best LCD’s in the market. Sony has slightly better picture quality in their new XBR8 line and has more prominence associated with the name at a higher price than the Samsung A950.
As for Plasma televisions nothing can beat the Pioneer Elite Kuro.
burn-in is not such a problem with plasma (samsung) got one for 2years now, play games, browse net, watch tv. NO problem!!!!!!! So go for plamsa if you watch tv and movies sport and some games go fo PLASMA. no lag in image.
Just a personal opion is that the burn-in isn’t a lie. As i just got it and i do get i from the channel logo’s. Also i have had both.
I had a 32″ lcd panasonic for £325 but it broke after 3 months and i got a refund. So i went out a brought a 50″ plasma samsung for £700. I am having really bad problems with the burn-in. I am know getting a 47″ lcd lg for £690.
Panasonic/Samsung 50″ Plasma $1500-1800
52″ LCD $2499+
companys are going to stop making plasmas so buy lcd i was going to buy plasma but have brought a sony kdl46×3500 lcd for £2000
problem is….people are looking NOW, and are on budgets. just like plasma, any new tech will be completely out of their reach, just like me. i’m attracted to plasma, but lcd is more tollerant of gaming. i love movies but i like to kill bad guys too (stress relief), so, i’m searching for something in my budget that will last long enough, new tech, can’t afford it
plasma groupie
Good advice. Thanks!
Everybody knows that neither are good - they both loose picture quality over time. Just wait a couple more month for the new laser TVs! Twice the colors, faster, no degradation during lifetime, about 30% to 50% lighter and 50% or more energy efficent. LCD or plasma - the answer is laser!
I have a Plasma and a LCD,I like the Plasma a lot better than the LCD.
I like Plasma’s the best especially Pioneer because of their industry leading black colors.
plasma tv can go up to 32 inches now i saw a ViSIO TV plasma at wal mart and it cost 520 bucks not bad but I still got an LCD tv and its amazing wow if you watch LCD on standerd cable it looks like crap it looks like lagg if you have HD Programing like me then LCD all the way I am a sports fan and I have an LCD TV AND THERES NO LAG DELAY
