whats the pros and cons between a projection HDTV vs a lcd screen?

nick asked: I’m looking into purchasing a 50″ HDTV but I can’t make up my mind on which one to purchase. The rear projection tv is a lot cheaper in price but I’m afraid I won’t get the quality picture. Any suggestions will be helpful.
