sportguy900 asked:

s this a good T.V for $699.99. I want to get it, I know it’s not the best, but I’m a college student I was wondering if it would do the trick.

Do you guys think I can find a deal like this or better during black friday? Most sites I look at show this product for over $1,000. I found this Brand new at a local Costco store. Advice much appreciated.

westinghouse tv is a bad choice , company has no parts if it breaks down and they break down all the time , dont waist your money, lucky if it works more than 2 years, get a contract whatever you buy, assurant is a good company for extended warranty,

This is really junk, like Vizio, Polaroid, Element, Insignia, Dynex, and RCA, to name but a few! Don’t do it. Read this, before you throw away your $$$ -
For $50-$100 ($799 at Circuit City), you can get a Panasonic Viera TH-42PX80U, a high quality HDTV that is tops in performance and reliability. If you get cheap junk, in a year or so, you’ll be sorry!!!

Consumer Reports says that 20% of LCD’s need a major repair in their first year. Westinghouse has a 30% repair rate. THey are priced accordingly. It is not a big problem because the warranty is for 1 year. Get the tv..
