What is the best way to connect PC to HDTV given the following port availabilities?
HDTV has HDMI, VGA, S-Video, Composite Video Port (yellow), and the Component Port (blue, green, and red “Pr”).
Any answer is appreciated. Thank you!

HDMI will get the best quality
Use whatever input that matches the output on your computer. For most computers, this will be VGA. However, if your computer has HDMI output, use that.
S-video is average, VGA is better, but your best option would be to buy a cheap graphics card with a DVI output - this can hook up to the HDTV with a DVI to HDMI adapter. I also use a program called powerstrip to configure the refresh rate and resolution.
If you decide to buy a graphics card make sure it is compatible with the motherboard in your computer (ie: PCI-E or AGP)
