Will a HDTV bought in USA work in India?

make sure it is connected to correct current
USA is 110 volts……I think India may be 220, but not positive
if so, connect tv to transformer, or if has switch in back of tv, set to 220
It won’t work with broadcasts there likely, just if you use a box to tune TV or watch DVDs.
